KlickZeit is a free work time tracking app developed by TayTek. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is processed when you use the app.
The app may collect the following data: • Email address (email sign-in, Google or Apple sign-in) • Anonymous guest session identifier (use without signing in) • Check-in/out times, work durations, break and leave records • App settings (work standards, language and theme preferences) • Game scores, best times and optional game nicknames • User Code shown to guest users only (e.g. KZ-ABCD1234) • Records stored locally on your device
Collected data is used only to: • Provide work time tracking and app features • Offer optional cloud backup and cross-device access • Operate games and leaderboard features • Check for app updates (Firebase Remote Config) Your work records and account data are not sold to third parties.
Banner ads may be shown on the home screen via Google AdMob (Google LLC). • Ads support free use of the app • Advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS) may be used • On iOS, App Tracking Transparency permission may be requested for personalized ads • AdMob may process data for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention under its own privacy policy • Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy • AdMob: https://support.google.com/admob Ad-related data is limited to advertising functionality; your work records are not used to build advertising profiles.
Your data is: • Stored locally on your device (AsyncStorage) • Optionally backed up to Firebase Firestore when signed in • Email is shown in profile for signed-in users; User Code is shown only to guest users • Leaderboard scores, nicknames and User Codes may be visible to other users • Work records and settings are linked only to your account
To protect your data: • Secure sign-in with Firebase Authentication • Access control with Firestore security rules • Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
To delete your account and data: • Use Settings > Delete Account to permanently delete your account • This removes your Firebase account, cloud records and local data • To sign out only, use Sign Out in Settings • Uninstalling the app removes local data on the device
The app uses: • Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore database and Remote Config • Google AdMob (Google LLC): Banner ads • Google Sign-In (Google LLC) • Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.) These services have their own privacy policies.
